How it works
Three steps,then stop worrying
Enroll one time
$995 once. Five years of coverage from the day you join. Nothing bills you monthly, and you can re-enroll when the five years are up.
Your first set is included
A full custom upper and lower, made from your digital scan. That is a $600 set, included in enrollment.
Replace as often as you need
$75 per arch, $150 for a full set, with no limit on how many times you order. Lost it in Lisbon? Order another and get on with your day.

Your old orthodontist is in another state and your retainer is getting old. You do not need to start over, you just need somewhere local that will take a scan and keep it on file.

You already know how this goes. If you have replaced a retainer more than once, the program is cheaper than the pattern you are already in.

Do I have to be a Smile Pop patient to enroll?
No. New and existing patients are both welcome. If you finished treatment somewhere else, or moved to New York partway through retention, you can enroll here. All we need is a current digital scan, and we can take that for you at the studio.
What if you do not have a scan of my teeth?
Then we take one. It is a quick digital scan, no goop involved, and it stays on file so every future replacement is a reorder rather than a whole appointment. You can also have your own dentist or orthodontist email us an .STL file.
Is there a limit on how many replacements I can order?
No cap. That is the entire point. For five years from enrollment you can order as many replacements as you need at $75 per arch or $150 for a set.
What happens after five years?
You re-enroll, and it works exactly like the first time: another $995, another five years of coverage, and a brand new custom set included. We can make that set from the scan we already have on file, or take a fresh one if your teeth or your dental work have changed since. Entirely your call.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Enrollment and replacements are both eligible for pretax HSA and FSA dollars, which is a quietly excellent way to make this cost less than it looks.
Does the program cover a night guard or a tongue crib?
No. Those are custom appliances with a different job, and they are ordered separately from the retainer options page.
My teeth have already moved. Will this fix that?
A retainer is designed to hold teeth where they are, not move them back. If things have shifted and you would like them straightened again, that starts with a consultation. Book one here and we will look at your smile together and talk through what is possible.
What about insurance?
Smile Pop is out of network, but we are happy to look up your benefits and submit the claim on your behalf so any payment comes back to you directly, a bit like a rebate check.
